Mohican Haunted Schoolhouse is back in session for another year! Visit our “Vintage” Schoolhouse built in 1924, sustained by a conversion to a Haunted Attraction!
Opening in 2016 (originally LESSONS IN FEAR), we are excited to welcome our students and faculty back to class as we celebrate a decade of haunting!
Our top floor is tribute to Classic Monsters. Find out what’s under the fog, in the crypt, or emerging from the lab! Enter a vortex on the main floor to a boarding school for “unique” children.
Explore an abandoned carnival and a web of intriguing inhabitants! Descend to the basement to CONTAGION INDUSTRIES, where research has no boundaries. Unfortunately, not all containment protocols are effective with this facility!
Be vigilant as you escape through the wasteland and hope the school bus hasn’t left you behind!

Conveniently located near Cleveland and Columbus, Ohio, it is easy for you to reach one of the top haunted houses in Ohio. Depending on where our victims are coming from, we make sure to include all directions to Ohio’s Haunted House Attraction. Mohican Haunted Schoolhouse is located at 155 W 3rd St, Perrysville, OH 44864. (Old Perrysville School on Rt. 39.)
If you are coming from the North near Cleveland: take I-71 South to Rt. 39 east exit and head East on Rt. 39 to intersection of Rt. 39 and Rt. 95, Mohican Haunted Schoolhouse is located South East of intersection. (Right side of St. just past intersection.)
If you are driving from the West: take Rt. 30 to Rt. 511 south on Rt. 511 to Rt. 39 head left (East) to intersection of Rt. 39 and Rt. 95, Mohican Haunted Schoolhouse is located South East of intersection. (Right side of St. just past intersection.)
If you are driving from the East: take Rt. 30 to Rt. 511 south on Rt.511 to Rt. 39, head left (East) to intersection of Rt.39 and Rt.95, Mohican Haunted Schoolhouse is located South East of intersection. (Right side of St. just past intersection.) Also you can use Rt. 95 and Rt. 3 south to Rt. 39.
If you are traveling from the South near Columbus: take I-71 North to Rt. 39 East to intersection of Rt. 39 and Rt. 95, Mohican Haunted Schoolhouse is located South East of intersection. (Right side of St. just past intersection.)
*Customers must be INSIDE the entry door no later than 11 PM to go through the haunt.
Mohican Haunted Schoolhouse is open 7:00 pm - 11:00 pm every Friday & Saturday night from September 27 - November 1, 2025.
A metal detector and security personnel are on site for your safety
Children 12 and younger must be accompanied by an adult
no infants or toddlers
